Palm trees at Mosman Square, Sydney, Australia
Blue is one of my favourite colours and the blue skies of the Land Down Under offer a perfect background for clouds and trees and man-made structures. These palm trees at Mosman Square could very well be the tallest palm trees in the Southern Hemisphere. What do you think?
A solitary telegraph pole and the solitary moon are eyeing each other up on a sunny afternoon.
Balmoral Beach, Sydney, Australia
Earth, Water, Air…and where is Fire? I think in the hearts of the young lovers on the beach.

The sky was a nice blue today too but of course we still have the cold and the snow. Aren’t you happy you chose Australia many moons ago {wink}

These are great! I absolutely love the beach shot- the texture of the sand and how the clouds move your eyes to the center of the photo. Some great blues here! Thanks for participating 🙂

Your photos are truly outstanding… Congratulations…
Of course, blue, I would say it is such an impressive and poetic color!.
And by that I the color of the unreachable those blue roses that romantic poets (such as Novalis) tried to “chase”, and also the color of melancholy (when I am feeling “blue”…) .
So well, bottom line, I think is an appropiate color for poetic souls like yours.
Many hugs, Aquileana 😉

So glad you like my photos, Aquileana. Blue can be the colour of melancholy but the vivid blue of the Australian sky is just the opposite, it fills you with energy and joy. Btw, I haven’t heard of Novalis, must look him up. I always learn something new from you!
Thanks so much for commenting. Much appreciated. Hugs 🙂 Irina

I love it when I can see the moon during the day. And especially when it’s a HUGE moon during the night. Happy Easter to ya, Irina!

I dream of blue skies and we’ve been having them lately (except when a plane flies over).
