Dianthus in my garden

I salute all Mothers
Those who wanted to be
Those who didn’t want to be
Those who couldn’t be
But dreamed to be
I salute all Mothers
Irrespective of creed or colour
Married or unmarried
Loved and cherished
Or judged and rejected
I rejoice in your joys
As you watch your offspring
Walking down the path of Light
And I feel your anguish and pain
When they’re battling with fiends
I salute your selfless devotion
To the baby in your tender arms
Your everlasting Love
And infinite Patience
O Mothers of this World!

What a lovely poem! It warms my heart, Happy Mother’s Day to you and any woman who has nursed a child to health, helped a child in need, mentored children and youth…we are all mothers. Blessings xx
Thank you, my friend. I appreciate your lovely comment. Blessings xxxx
Bisous ❤
This is lovely and the picture wonderful. Yesterday we went to town, and I picked up a six pack of those flowers. Then I gave them to the clerk and asked her to have my husband buy them for me for Mother’s Day. Okay, a bit self-serving, and am no paying for it because I can’t transplant them today. Winds are getting up above the 40 mph.
Thanks, Pam. I hope the weather has improved today and you’ve been able to transplant your Mother’s Day gift.
Beautiful flower and such a Great tribute for Mother’ s Day!…
Sending you Hugs, Aquileana 😉
Thank you for your lovely comment, Aquileana. Hugs back 🙂 Irina
