November is the month of the glorious Jacaranda.
Wishing you all a great weekend filled with love and happiness!

- Joyful is the song in
Aussie land
Cantata in D major
Across the landscape
Radiant purple
Adorns the
New vision of the world
Days of bliss and harmony ahead
As we reach out to each other with love and respect

Kookaburra sweet,
you neither chirp nor tweet.
Your laughter is much like mine,
my cackle is much like thine.
We are two sister souls,
one clad in feathers,
the other in clothes.

What a fabulous picture to go along with your enthusiastic poem. Spring. You’re upside down. 😉
Thanks for your fabulous comment, Susan. This is actually the view I enjoy from my house.
That is such a stunning photo!! and great acrostic!
Thank you so much, Oliana. I truly appreciate your comment.
So beautiful those purple trees!
They are indeed. Thank you so much for paying them a compliment. 🙂
The jacaranda poem is lovely, Irina, and really suited to that beautiful photo. “Cantata in D major Across the landscape” .. how wonderfully evocative. It must be lovely to be experiencing spring and see the glorious jacaranda trees everywhere. We’re heading full speed towards winter. Still, the Earth’s cycle never ceases… Once we get to January, spring isn’t too far away.
Thank you, Millie, for appreciating the lovely jacarandas and my poem. You know I still remember the change of seasons with a bit of nostalgia. Every season had its particular charm and life seemed so much longer. Have a great week! 🙂
Every day seemed much longer to me when I was young, and a year seemed an eternity. Now it all just flies by so fast. I can understand you missing the seasons. Each has its own unique beauty – ideal for poets, like you. But I know there’s much beauty in Australia. We loved visiting the rain forest and the Barrier Reef … all very beautiful. 🙂
I visited the rain forest in Tasmania in 1991, my last holiday as I haven’t been able to travel since 1993 due to chronic fatigue. Haven’t seen so many wonderful places in Australia, but I can always watch documentaries. 🙂
Sorry to hear your brother-in-law suffers from it too. Thanks for empathising, Millie. That’s why I mustn’t spend too much time on the computer either. Sometimes I get depressed, but not for a long time. I remind myself that I can still do lots of things that I enjoy, I just need to do it in smaller increments. Have a nice weekend! 🙂 xxx

Bonjour IRINADIM
L’amitié c’est une écoute
Qui jamais ne se permet de juger
Elle peut tout partager nos joies, nos secrets,
Que ce soit la nuit, le jour elle vole à notre secours
L’amitié c’est de l’or
Belle semaine, bise amicale

Tres belles pensees sur l’amitie, Bernard. Merci beaucoup et bonne semaine a toi, cher ami lointain. 🙂 Irina
How lovely! I do love Jacarandas ❤ have one in our yard but it doesn't flower nearly as much as those in your photo. Beautiful acrostic. Posting on Artists4Peace this morning.
Thanks so much for posting my Jacarandas on Artists4Peace. Honoured and humbled. ❤
