If you wish to contribute to a truly noble cause, you can donate to CMRI – Children’s Medical Research Institute. In Australia, Jeans for Genes Day is held on the first Friday in August and on this day people are asked to wear their jeans and donate to CMRI. So wear your favourite jeans, torn- and- in ones or intact, old-fashioned ones and give generously.

I confess I’d never heard of Jeans for Genes Day, Irina, but it sounds like an excellent cause. I love my old jeans, too. It takes time to make new ones feel as comfortable. If that’s you in the photo, I must say, you look very trendy! 😀

It’s not me, Millie, I don’t own such trendy clothes. Anyway, I’d never wear torn clothes. 🙂
