FULL CIRCLE – My Dad, a Volunteer in WWI

To mark the centenary of the ARMISTICE of 1918 that ended WWI on 11 November, I am thrilled to announce I managed to self-publish my book this year! I nearly gave up twice. The main headache was formatting, but Allie, the consultant at LuLu.com, was very helpful and Sasha, my husband, gave me moral support all the way. I’m very grateful to both. The book will be available for purchase before Christmas, I was told.

Bogdan’s Serbian Passport

Bogdan in Russia serving in the Imperial Russian Army and studying medicine at Moscow University when on leave.

From the book:

“Dear reader, this book does not aspire to be a comprehensive historical account of WWI or any other period in history, but rather it is an account of historical events which had shaped my father’s life and character, providing a framework for his journey at the time of that great global upheaval. I hope that you will follow his odyssey with interest and compassion and be filled with optimism that evil will always be conquered by brave men and women of goodwill.”

Lest we forget!

    Bisous, BERNARD
