shorn and manicured to clean
green sterility
……….
My lawn is a wild
meadow where grasses of all
kinds grow and prosper
……….
(Oh no, these are not caterpillars!)
……….
In my lawn, cheerful
golden dandelions dance
in the summer breeze

The fluffy ones are
ready to fly to the end
of the horizon
………
Somewhere there in the
clover patch there’s a four-leaf
Haven’t found it yet!
But I found a bug
sitting pretty, sitting still
meditating… Wow!
So, learn a lesson
form the modest bug, sit still
and meditate now!
Smile and be grateful
for the splendour around you
Have a lovely day!

You have put wonderful creative endeavour into both haiku and photo essay. It is often the simple grasses of the fields, the daisies and the dandelions that bring inspiration. Lovely Iriina.

Benita, I’m so glad you liked my creation. I like my wild lawn because it reminds me of the meadows in my home country. I used to find a four-leaf clover quite often. Thanks so much for commenting.

I totally enjoyed the post…
I love the way you have highlighted all those the natural pressences. Your lawn is a great poetic source my dear!…

Hi Aquileana,
Guess what…I’ve never heard of renga before, so I’ve looked up the link and yes, you’re right, it’s a kind of renga. I’m so glad you enjoyed it. And thank you again for being a mentor.
I’ll keep looking for the four-leaf clover.
Hugs xxx Irina 🙂
