Wishing you all a great week, filled with love, laughter and gratitude!

This is Mufti. He is getting very old and has lost both his eyes, but I’m told he’s still a very happy boy. You can read more about him here – Inspector Mufti and here – The Magic Dandelion.

Kookaburra sweet,
you neither chirp nor tweet.
Your laughter is much like mine,
my cackle is much like thine.
We are two sister souls,
one clad in feathers,
the other in clothes.

Thank you dear, Doda. Your comment is deeply touching too. Much appreciated. I miss my dogs. But my canary is very sweet and he still sings although quite old for a canary. Cheers 🙂
No wonder since he is with you, darling Irina!Your love and your charismatic personality motivate it and the more it sings the longer he will live.Seemingly, you keep him really happy.I miss my dogs too and the wounds they have left in my soul, after their departure, will never be cured. They are like human beings. Now,we have 3,Hermes,Heracles and Aris, who is a rescue dog.Nice family members …Take care my wonderful friend ~ I did enjoy and treasure the contact we had again ~ Hugs & Kisses of Friendship 🙂 ❤ xxx Doda
Dear Doda, I must accept that our canary may leave us any day. I was already grieving his departure 4 years ago when I noticed a change in his plumage and singing, which gave birth to a poem, Ode to my Canary. I’m so happy your 3 dogs with mythological names brighten your day. Dogs are wonderful pets. They shower you with love and never bear grudges. Enjoy your weekend in their furry company! Returning Hugs and Kisses of Friendship ❤ 🙂 xoxo Irina
