Fear –Third Version (SunWinks! October 19, 2014: Metaphor)

Angry wasps
Fill my ears

Wildebeests stampede
Through the savannah

Lions and cheetahs
Ready to pounce

Parched earth
Ready to swallow me

Burning trees
Ready to embrace me

Hungry vultures
Descend

Gasping for air
I turn into
A stump!

Thanks, Aquileana. The third version is the result of Doug Westberg’s mentoring. I’m very happy with it and so is he. I’m glad you like it, too.

      Happy week! Hugs ❤ Irina
